Rutuja Gumathannavar is currently a Research Assistant at Symbiosis Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, SIU, Pune. Her research interests are towards the utilization of novel nanofabrication techniques, to develop Functional Nanostructures for diverse biomedical diagnostic applications. Her core research area is optical biosensors for detecting biomolecules and Multi-Drug Resistant pathogens.
Rutuja obtained her Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in 2017 from Shivaji University, India. She has more than 4 years of research experience in the field of material science and nanobiotechnology. During her Master’s degree, she worked on the development of Metal and Metal oxide nanomaterials and their biomedical applications.
